Saw a kid playing RB for Brazil at U20 World Cup and would definitely rate him as a superb prospect. Maybe (as other clubs have) bring in 1 or 2 quality foreign players in their late teens, with the future in mind? Name of PEDRO, Joao currently with Palmeiras.

The LB position is finally sorted after all these years
The RB position is a problem which needs sorting fairly soon. We had a loan player last season who we may or may not get on loan for this (very long) season
Demel has left & although JOB can play RB, I see him more as a utility player (& a fairly average one at that!).
He is not what I would call a specialist RB despite the fact that it may be his favoured position
If Jenkinson comes on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, or we can sign him permanently then that HALF solves the problem. We still need a specialist RB as cover, preferrably a good young one we can bring on
Anyone know what the leeds lad (Byram-?) is like?

we have two left backs, i think he will go somewhere like turkey for a last big payday. decent going forward, not a great defender.

I think Glen Johnson would still be a good option for us. As mentioned below if we have a long season he could come in handy. Can play left back also.

guttierez is a winger, ye she has played right back a bit mainly for the national team though, he was on thw wing against us last season, he is 32 and after battling cancer recently i doubt his fitness levels will ever get back to what they once were.

Agree that we should be getting our own RB in even if he is one for the future who could be playing in the EL matches.... there is no way that Jenks can play 60+ matches this season without picking up a knock and then we are down to JOB....
I mentioned on the transfer thread yesterday Guttererez (sp?) on a free as better back up than JOB.

I think Spurs getting Trippier was an absolute steal for 3.5 mill. Will most probably just sit on the bench too. We should of gone for him.
